What is a payment button:
Within the PayPlug portal, the "payment button" is called "Product".
The payment button is a simple solution to implement PayPlug on your website. A button is just a few lines of code that you can copy-paste in the source code of your HTML page.
When your customer clicks on this button, he/she is directed to a PayPlug payment page.
Steps to create a payment button:
Once logged in to your PayPlug portal, click on the "Products" menu.
Then click on the button "New Product" at the top right of the page. A new window named "Product details" opens.
You can fill in the necessary information. The "Quantity available", "Redirect page" and "Postal address" fields are optional.
If you check "Defined by customer" in the field "Amount", your customer can choose the amount he wishes to pay.
If you need that your customers provide their postal address, then check the option "Require customers to provide their address".
Once the button is ready, you can click on "Create".
Once your button is created, you are directed to your products' welcome page.
Click on the row designating your button in order to retrieve the details of your product :
If you need to modify the information, click on "Edit".
If you want to preview the payment page for this button, click on "Preview my product".
In order to get the code of the button, click on "Embed a button on my website" from the "Share" window on the right of the page.
Copy the code and paste it in the source code of your web page.
The field "copy the permalink" is the link to the PayPlug payment page generated by the button.
You can also use some icons to embark your button on Facebook or Twitter.
At the upper right of the page, you can access the buttons "Delete", "Deactivate", "Edit".
