ID documents
In order to comply with its "know your customer" commitments, PayPug requires an ID of the company's manager and, if necessary, an ID of the PayPlug's account administrator.
Option 1 : The PayPlug's account administrator is the company's manager.
Then, the required document is a valid "passport" or "identity card" from the company's manager.
Option 2 : The PayPlug's account administrator is NOT the company's manager.
The required documents are:
- Valid "passport" or "identity card" from the company's manager.
- Valid "passport" or "identity card" from the PayPlug's account administrator.
- A signed "mandate" from the manager allowing the designated individual to administer the PayPlug account.
Specific situations
- The manager or the administrator of the PayPlug account is a European Union national: only one piece of ID is required.
- The manager or the administrator of the PayPlug account is NOT a European Union national: two pieces of ID are required. In this situation, the residence permit and the passport from native country are accepted.
- The driving licence is NOT accepted.
Before submitting your ID, you should be sure it is valid. Otherwise your application will be rejected.

What is a signed mandate from the manager?
The mandate is a signed document by the company's manager for which the PayPlug account was created.
In this document, the manager writes down the name of the person authorized to administer the company's PayPlug account.
