How is VAT applied on PayPlug?

On November 26th 2016, PayPlug became a Licensed Payment Institution authorized by the ACPR (Bank of France) 

From the 01/04/2017, VAT is applied to all transaction fees and monthly plans. The details are available on monthly invoices 

The VAT is applied differently depending on your business: 
  • If your company is not based in France but owns a European VAT number, the VAT value that appears in your invoices should be 0%
  • If your company is based in metropolitan France, The VAT should be 20% (applied as of the 1st of April 2017).
  • If your company is based in French overseas departments, the VAT should be 8.5% (applied as of the 1st of April 2017).
  • If your company is based in French overseas terrtories, the VAT should be zero% (applied as of the 1st of April 2017).

VAT is applied on PayPlug fees only. If you are a company, you can deduct it from your global expenses (More informations).
